If you are looking for a nice and quiet place with sea view bungalows on Koh Kood (Koh Kut) and at a reasonable price, here’s a small resort I tried there: Kinnaree Resort
The Place and Location
Kinnaree Resort in Koh Kood is located on the west coast of the island between Ao Tapao Beach and Bang Bao Beach.
The location is very quiet and beautiful, facing the sea and under high coconut trees.
There’s no sand beach however there are beautiful rocks and it’s perfect for snorkeling. I really love the rocks in front of the bungalows they are very interesting and give you a feeling of being far away with their different forms shaped by the time with salt and water.
There’s a Seafood restaurant and BBQ (JK Khao Keng) right at the entrance of the resort and the food is good.
If you want to visit around you can rent a motorcycle directly from the hotel for ฿ 200 a day which is the best price you can find on the island. Within a 5 min ride, you have a grocery on the roadside.
The Accommodation
All the bungalows are facing the sea and have a hammock on the terrasse, I got Bungalow no 8 which is one of the nearest to the sea.
Though the place is a bit outdated everything is clean and comfortable.
It might be one of the best deals on the island considering the view and the price.
You feel quickly at home and wanna chill and lazing in front of the stunning view
The bungalows have a fridge (empty) so it’s up to you to fill it with your favorite drinks and enjoy a beautiful sunset on your terrasse.
The breakfast is correct with coffee (instant) toast bread, fruits, and Thai-style dishes.
The Verdict
in conclusion, a good place to chill, be comfortable, and clean with a home feeling
