Oysterman: The Place and Location

This elegant and tiny Champagne and seafood bar is located in the Thonglor area soi 49 and they just open a new branch in Sathorn soi 10.

The one I tried is the Thonglor branch, there are limited seats but you can also eat at the bar.

The Food & Service

Chef Feay Chalermkiat who had experience abroad has created a delicate and flavorful menu to amaze you focusing on seafood and he masters his offer.

We tried the oyster’s platter of course and we were well recommended by the bartender (you can dine at the bar)

They have a choice of 6 different oysters from France and the USA, Caviar.

We had the Langoustine Tartare (320 ฿ ), the Ceviche Scallops (320 ฿ ), Crab Salad (310 ฿ ) and the Moules Marinieres (260 ฿ ) Seafood Pan Roasted (290 ฿ ) with a perfect Sancerre (Domaine du Pre Semele ) at 1890 ฿ for the bottle and everything was excellently made to perfection

On the bar side, they also serve a few Cocktails and have a nice choice of Champagne ranging from 1990 ฿ to 6900 ฿.

The verdict

Everything was perfect, with a lot of flavors and perfectly seasoned, though the Mussels Marinieres sauce is not a traditional one but the taste was amazing too. It was one of the best dinners i had in Bangkok and this will become for sure one of my regular addresses when I’m craving for seafood.

I recommend to book ahead to secure your table as there’s limited seats.
